Another sunday lunch

Another Sunday, and the suns out and blue skies here in medway and the daily grind, whats the weather like where you are?

Love sundays and its getting lighter now in the afternoon, on a day like this it stays lighter until almost 5pm, lovely spring is almost here.

I am selling digital downloads or trying too, its not as easy as it seems at first, have created an etsy shop, but recently I have decided to do a complete revamp, a kind of shuffle of images, and uploading some new ideas, as the others I had didnt sell,  creating planners at the moment, hard work and takes time but hopefully worth it.

Just had roast beef steaks and veg, the ruhbarb crumble and custerd we know how to live here at the daily grind, what did you have today?

Well the sun is still shining so will go for a walk, see you all soon

Changes

Oh is it saturday, another day what have you all been up too, here at the daily grind its been slow and relaxing, my kind of day.  Got my car back after the repair.

Sadly one of our neighbours passed away, he was 88, a lovely man who when ever we saw him enjoyed a little chat, in the first few days after we had moved into the road he would tell us the history of the area, one that we did enjoy, no he was not like uncle albert from only fools, he was kind and friendly, the road will not be the same without him may you rest in peace Bill. The road has changed but you get used to seeing and living with the new ones, but to see someone else in Bill and Maggies house is really going to take some getting used too.

We have lost both our parents Joanne and I, so we know how much losing a mum and dad hurts, and you never really get over it you just learn to live on.

We are thinking of moving into our forever home which wouldbe the last time, so to get the right one in the right area is going to take some time.

Park struggles

hello been a while since I posted, been busy looking after my partner Joanne, she has onset parkinsons, shes fine, but finds life a little hard sometimes, gets stiff and moves slowly, recently we had some handrails installed on the stairs but the local council department, we own the house but through the NHS we were able to get them installed, its made a difference for her to get up and down them.

Learning more about parkinsons every day, waiting for hospital appointments is frustrating as many have found, on a waiting list to see a gastro person as she has this cough vertually every time she eats.

Its so hard to see someone you care for going through this every day, as said shes fine, not bad as yet but its the future that does not sound great for her. She used to be able to walk very fast, I sometimes had a job to keep up with her, getting in and out of chairs and bed is a mini task.

Shes on medication as you can imagine, shaky tablets as we call them, pain killers as and when needed.

Sadly there is no known cure for parkinsons, as Joanne has said it is was it is, but I cant help feeling for her everytime she struggles.

Lets hope they find a cure soon.

Day to Day events

Spring time

The sun awakes in a sleepy stretch,  Yawning warmth on a winter's wretch.  Birdsong flutters on the breeze,  Waking trees from slumber...
