My Journey as a writer of ideas

Five Books, Two Ideas, One Passionate Pursuit: My Journey as a Writer

It's funny how life twists and turns you towards your purpose. For me, the path to becoming a writer wasn't paved with literary degrees or childhood bookworms. It was an unexpected detour, a side road illuminated by a spark of passion that wouldn't be ignored.

Today, I stand proudly on that road, five published books to my name and two more simmering on the back burner. They may not be New York Times bestsellers (yet!), but each one holds a piece of my heart, a testament to the power of an idea whispered on the wind and embraced with unwavering enthusiasm.

My writing journey wasn't linear. It was a messy, beautiful mosaic of experiences. A late-blooming love for stories, nurtured in whispered bedtime tales and rainy day dives into dusty attic libraries. A career filled with unexpected detours, each one sparking a nugget of an idea, a character begging to be born.

And then, one day, the dam broke. The ideas, once contained, flooded out, demanding expression. I picked up the pen, feeling like a novice sculptor grappling with an avalanche of granite.

Spring time

The sun awakes in a sleepy stretch,  Yawning warmth on a winter's wretch.  Birdsong flutters on the breeze,  Waking trees from slumber...
